Seller identifier is missing

Error BR-CO-26 EN 16931

In order for the buyer to automatically identify a supplier, the Seller identifier (BT-29), the Seller legal registration identifier (BT-30) and/or the Seller VAT identifier (BT-31) shall be present.

Mandatory rule: As long as it is violated, the invoice is invalid and will be rejected by validators.
What is wrong

In ram:SellerTradeParty, none of ram:ID, ram:GlobalID, ram:SpecifiedLegalOrganization/ram:ID, or ram:SpecifiedTaxRegistration/ram:ID with schemeID='VA' is present. At least one of these seller identifiers must be provided.

What the rule means

At least one seller identifier from BT-29, BT-30, or BT-31 must be present so that the buyer can identify the supplier automatically.

The invoice does not contain any of the checked seller identifiers. You can provide a seller identifier, a legal registration identifier, or a VAT identifier.

What to do
  1. Add at least one of the checked values in ram:SellerTradeParty: ram:ID, ram:GlobalID, ram:SpecifiedLegalOrganization/ram:ID, or ram:SpecifiedTaxRegistration/ram:ID with schemeID='VA'.
  2. For the VAT identifier, you can use FacturXInvoice.AddSellerTaxRegistration(...); GlobalID.SchemeID is provided for the legal registration identifier.
  3. Generate the invoice again and validate it once more.

Technical details

The test passes if at least one of the four checked elements is present: ram:ID, ram:GlobalID, ram:SpecifiedLegalOrganization/ram:ID, or ram:SpecifiedTaxRegistration/ram:ID with schemeID='VA'.
