Country identifier required in the payee’s address

Error FX-SCH-A-000994 Factur-X

Element 'ram:CountryID' must occur exactly 1 times.

Mandatory rule: As long as it is violated, the invoice is invalid and will be rejected by validators.
What is wrong

The payee’s address does not contain exactly one ram:CountryID element. The element is either missing or occurs more than once.

What the rule means

ram:CountryID assigns the address to a country. Exactly one such element is required so that the country in the address is unambiguous.

Please include exactly one country identifier in the payee’s address

The payee’s address is missing ram:CountryID, or it appears more than once. Having one country identifier resolves this structural issue.

What to do
  1. Open the payee’s ram:PostalTradeAddress.
  2. Make sure ram:CountryID occurs exactly once in it.
  3. Generate the invoice again and validate it once more.
