Specify the VAT identifier scheme

Error FX-SCH-A-001055 Factur-X

Attribute '@schemeID' is required in this context.

Mandatory rule: As long as it is violated, the invoice is invalid and will be rejected by validators.
What is wrong

The affected ram:ID is missing the @schemeID attribute. The rule checks whether this attribute is present.

What the rule means

The scheme identifies the type of identifier. The value VA here denotes a VAT identifier.

Please specify the seller’s VAT identifier scheme

The scheme of the seller’s VAT identifier for an invoice line is being checked. You can add the missing information to ram:ID.

What to do
  1. Find the affected seller identifier in ram:SpecifiedTaxRegistration.
  2. Check whether ram:ID has the @schemeID attribute.
  3. Generate the invoice again and validate it.
Technical details

The test checks only whether the @schemeID attribute is present on the context node. The Rule Context already selects ram:ID elements with @schemeID="VA".

Where the rule applies

The rule applies to ram:ID in a seller ram:SpecifiedTaxRegistration for an invoice line when @schemeID has the value VA.
